ISSA Garden, formerly known as “Sarea-n bucate,” embodies an entire culture. Set at the crossroads of history and legend, the restaurant brings together culinary tradition and the warm hospitality of Transylvania. From early morning until late evening, guests can rest body and mind, satisfy their hunger with traditional dishes, and indulge their senses with fine wine made from grapes grown on the Durgău Hills. 

The restaurant welcomes you with a warm and inviting interior and a spacious terrace, where meals can be enjoyed at leisure on beautiful days. The menu features delicious dishes, traditional soups, a uniquely designed live grill, wood-fired pizza, and desserts that have already become guest favorites, including the famous “black pancakes.”

Turda is a well-developed agricultural area, giving us easy access to products from small local producers of meat, dairy, and bread. It’s good to know that when you dine with us, you’re also supporting small producers from the local community.

For the little ones, there’s a playground, while grown-ups can enjoy ISSA wines produced at La Salina Winery with their meal or purchase a bottle to take home. With parking nearby and a location just a short walk from Turda Salt Mine, ISSA Garden is an easy stop to include in any day spent exploring Turda.
